This park sitting opposite to Hawa Mahal near the coastal battery is developed and maintained by VUDA. Featuring
a magnificent statue of Lord Krishna and Rukmini as a centre piece. Sitting just in the white sand beach this park also
have a beautifully landscaped garden and a small park for children to play around. Nestled beauty of the park is it just
is sitting in the white sand beach giving an imposing mix of dynamism to this stretch of thebeach. |

RK Beach can be reached by RTC Bus that connects from all the parts
of the city and if you prefer to drive on your own then it is just 3 Km from RTC Bus Station. Autos are
other option too. |

Hawa Mahal
just opposite to the park is a must see. Constructed
between 1910-1920 Hawa Mahl is a symmetrical two floor
structure over-looking the bay of bengal was built as a
summer resort to the Maharaja of jeypore. In 1961,
former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru resided in Hawa
Mahal when he visited Vizag to inaugurate 'Jalausha',
the first ship manufactured by the Hindustan Shipyard.
During 1960s it was used as Government women's college. |
